About the builder

A lab for tools that survive contact with real work.

I'm Simon Gonzalez de Cruz. KyaniteLabs is my creative development lab for MCP servers, AI media systems, localization QA, estimation tools, repo diagnostics, domain software, and the build notes that make the work inspectable.

The lab grew out of the same habit that shaped my corporate work: find the broken handoff, make it visible, and leave behind a usable system.

Before KyaniteLabs, I spent 12+ years in learning operations and enterprise training systems: Workday Learning for 8,000+ associates, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, global training programs, compliance reporting, Power Query and Power BI dashboards, and bilingual training delivery.

That background still shapes the lab. Tools have to be inspectable, documented, and usable by people who did not build them. A clever prototype is not enough; the handoff has to survive.

KyaniteLabs is where I turn that operational instinct toward weird, useful software: mcp-video for agentic video workflows, DialectOS for Spanish localization QA, Epoch for estimation, OpenGlaze for ceramic chemistry, devarch-framework for repo archaeology, and Innerscape for personal workflow systems.

PuenteWorks LLC is the legal and business container. PuenteWorks leads when the client problem is business workflow, scope, content, or approval rhythm. KyaniteLabs leads when the work needs a technical product surface: software, MCP tools, automation, docs, deployment, or repair.

Work people can inspect

B1

mcp-video

87 FFmpeg and Hyperframes tools that let AI agents inspect, assemble, and transform video through a real tool surface instead of a vague prompt.

B2

DialectOS and Epoch

Spanish dialect QA and estimation infrastructure for work where language quality and time judgment need explicit checks.

B3

OpenGlaze and devarch-framework

Domain software and repo archaeology: ceramic chemistry, commit-history diagnostics, HTML reports, and evidence-backed handoff.

B4

Innerscape

A personal workflow system for turning reflection, routines, and decision support into something structured enough to use.

What the lab optimizes for

01

Real artifacts

Agents should touch timelines, repos, locale files, estimation models, domain data, docs, and working code.

02

Proof in public

A repo, build note, demo, screenshot, test, or install path should back the claim.

03

Domain respect

Ceramic chemistry, Spanish dialects, video tools, time estimates, and learning systems deserve specific interfaces, not generic AI wrappers.

04

Usable handoff

The work should leave behind commands, examples, notes, or implementation paths that survive the original session.

Next step

Bring a tool, workflow, or build that needs to become usable.

Best fit: Kyanite tools, MCP servers, agentic media workflows, localization QA, repo diagnostics, and technical product surfaces that need implementation help.
